Woodland Side Racer Jacket

March 17th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Fashion

Available at The Garbstore is this 100% cotton Woodland jacket in heavy canvas poplin.  I’m not quite sure what a “scooped placket with bound facings” is, but I love it!  At 263 GBP (approx. $370), this looks like a good buy.  Also available in black, and tan. Share

Barbour 2009 Spring Outerwear

March 17th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Fashion

When I was ten years old my father went to London for business and when he came back he presented me with a Barbour fleece, one that I still wear (or attempt to wear) to this day.  My love affair with Barbour continues here with its 2009 Spring Outerwear collection.  Though each piece looks fantastic, [...]

Fashion Brand Lollipops | Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, YSL

March 16th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Accessories, Art

These are absolutely brilliant!  Massimo Gammacurta came up with these little accessories for fashion week.  He created them with the Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and YSL logos in a series of different flavors.  I want them all!  Via highsnobiety. Share

Kato One Wash Denim Jacket

March 16th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Fashion

Nothing to get to excited about!  Just a jean jacket really.  I really like the buttons though…  Available at Oki-Ni. Share

Band of Outsiders x Sperry Deconstructed Boat Shoes

March 13th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Footwear

Also available at Tres Bien Shop are these fantastic boat shoes designed by Band of Outsiders for Sperry.  As we’ve seen in past footwear collaborations between the two brands these particular boat shoes have an inverted deconstruction.  Separating these from seasons past however is the use of safety pins, tassels, and what appears to be [...]

Rogues Gallery Canvas Boat Bag

March 11th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Bags

Made out of used sailing canvas, Rogues Gallery‘s latest collection of boat bags have an authentic distressed look; an aesthetic that’s truly definitive of the brand.  The new Spring/Summer 2009 Rogues Gallery Canvas Boat Bag is now available from Tres Bien Shop. Share

Over the years Baracuta has become well-known for its exclusive collaborations with high-end fashion brands and designers alike.  Now, Baracuta has partnered with the talented Junya Watanabe.  Great looking spring jackets!  Via Selectism. Share

Quelle heure est-il?

March 10th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Accessories

Last week Selectism highlighted the Hermes Arceau Moonphase Retograde pocketwatch.  This wonderful watch is 18kt gold and limited to 24 pieces. I’ve been thinking about what to do with my collection of pocket watches (seen below) once I finally get them repaired, and the leather strap seems like a great alternative to the chain.  I [...]

Band of Outsiders 2009 Fall/Winter Lookbook

March 4th, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Fashion

Scott Sternberg, Band of Outsiders’s designer, is a former CAA agent with no fashion background, but you wouldn’t know it!  I just picked up a pair of his wool boat shoes and they’re to die for; as is every other piece.  Scott has a great grasp of styling.  Another casual, yet refined aesthetic I can [...]

Garbstore Spring 2009 Collection

March 3rd, 2009  |  by Brennan  |  published in Fashion

Beautiful collection from Garbstore via Black Lodges.  The outerwear looks fantastic as does the overall construction of the pieces.  Cheers! Share
