The Aesthete | Nicolas Lazaro

February 19th, 2010  |  Published in the aesthete  |  1 Comment

Nicolas Lazaro, curator of Nickel Cobalt, was raised in Bedford Village, a very preppy but somewhat rural town popular with the horseback riding set.  His influence for this look was vintage military style; the goal for it is just that timeless, effortless “cool”.  Says Nicolas, “I like to make use of lots of color in my outfits but not to the extent that my prep roots are obvious and I like to choose pieces that are versatile, with lasting qualities (a product of my frugality, I suppose).”  Nicolas’s blog has really resonated with me and if you haven’t visited yet I suggest you do!
