Gant Campus Store

November 30th, 2010  |  Published in Fashion

Ari, Doug, and the rest of the fine folks over at Gant have done an incredible job with Gant’s New Haven homecoming.  This store opening is actually quite meaningful, as I learned this summer.  The brand’s founding family began their private label manufacturing business in New Haven in the late 1920’s and grew to become one of the world’s largest shirt manufacturers during the post WWII era after establishing the Gant brand in 1949.  The new campus store, which sits adjacent to the Yale University campus and next to the original J.Press shop, offers a carefully curated collection of clothing and accessories for men from Gant, Gant Rugger, Gant by Michael Bastian, and a limited edition Yale Co-Op branded shirt collection, which will debut early next year.  To the Yalies out there: Throw some pics up when you get a chance!
